Hanging Gothic Heart
This hanging heart is a hand-painted one off piece. I carved the design in lino, printed by hand onto the MDF heart, then used acrylic paints to decorate it. I then added a few layers of UV resin to emulate a stained glass effect. As a last step I scratched the resin with a carving tool to finish the piece.

Please note that my upcycled wearable pieces are using pre-owned garments and accessories. This means the original item has been previously worn or used before being transformed into a unique piece of wearable art.
I carefully select each item and only work with pieces that I consider to be in very good condition. Before painting and customizing, each piece is thoroughly cleaned, checked and prepared, and leather items are cleaned and conditioned/restored where needed. As these are pre-owned pieces, there may be minor signs of their previous life, which are part of the nature of upcycled work. Any significant existing marks, wear or imperfections will be shown or described in the individual product listing.
